These are the units that take the water supply to your filter from the cold water pipe.
aka self-tapping taps / DIY water connectors and so on...
How it works
A tiny pin pierces the copper cold water pipe and the water is taken via a quarter inch tube towards your water filter. Although not shown in the larger picture one meter of tubing is supplied.
You probably need one of these as a spare part if you have moved home as you have to leave the old one in place.
(If you have a different size to 1/4 inch we also supply tube adapters)
Note: This saddle valve is only suitable for copper pipe
Question: I only have plastic pipe. Will this work on plastic pipe?
Answer: No it is only suitable for coopper pipe. Check this 15mm to 1/4 inch connector instead
Question: I don't have much copper pipe exposed. Will this fit?
Answer: You'll need at least 2 inches of exposed copper pipe in order to fit the saddle clamp onto the pipe
